About
Research fellow (PDF) at the Urban Wildlife Instute-Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago, for the NSF project integrated Socio-Environmental Systems to understand human-wildlife coexistence. Previously hosted by the Spatial Ecology lab at the University of Toronto through a Walter Benjamin research award (German Research foundation), followed by a School of Cities and a Mitacs award.
Interested in understanding the impact of environmental change and urbanization on wildlife communities with the goal of achieving human-wildlife coexistence.
My work involves applying computational methods to big data at the landscape scale, i.e. landscape connectivity, habitat selection, interspecific interactions, and computer vision for monitoring wildlife populations.
